A legend has returned to the city

The Heineken Hoek has been a much-beloved staple at the corner of the Leidseplein since the late 1950s, known to all for its beer glasses billboard on the roof of the building. Locals and visitors to Amsterdam knew their way to this iconic café, a friendly place where everyone got to kick back and enjoy a beer, or two.

Now, after years of development of the area, the Heineken Hoek is returning to the place where is all began, this time as part of the glistening newly built Hotel The Diamond. With a Grand Café on the ground floor and the Bistro on the first floor, the Heineken Hoek has resurrected to bring back the nostalgia of bygone time, updated to modern standards. We’re looking forward to welcoming you soon!
